This French bistro was the real deal.
Prompt fast courteous service at the door and choice of outdoor seating , I knew it was going to be a great dining experience A young-looking guy who I assumed was a busboy offered to share today’s chef’s specials with me but I had already had a choice
clams & chorizo – steamed in a saffron tomato
broth with garlic & a pinch of chilies
The young-looking guy who I thought was a busboy was actually my waiter and he proceeded to embody the role of a professional server.
A glass of Pinot Noir from The Pinot Noir House Winery which I had visited the day before arrived with bread and delicious oil and balsamic mix. Soon after came the clams with chorizo garnish. The clams were a good size and cooked perfectly. The broth was an amazing combination of saffron and hot spice balanced with garlic and tomato broth. I loved the way the saffron taste was contained by the other ingredients and just the right amount of heat from the chiles.
The holy trinity of fine dining was achieved here. . Fantastic Ambiance. .Great service Excellent food
